Oil on Stemspaper

28 x 68 cm

This body of work explores the transformation of recovered paper and handmade paper derived from plant fibres. Using materials such as used cartons and locally sourced fibres, the work develops through processes of breaking down, reforming, and rebuilding.

The resulting forms reflect on cycles of use, memory, and material life, where discarded matter is reconstituted into new surfaces and structures that carry traces of their origin.
